Pigmento Colectivo is a small but proud Giclée & Fine Art printing studio, born in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. We remain based in Aveiro and currently ship orders regularly to over 20 countries across Europe.

Throughout 2021, despite the challenges still posed by the pandemic context, we took the opportunity to expand the reach of our — at the time — small operation.

In 2022, we focused primarily on strengthening our relationships with the artists we work with, testing new production options, new papers, and, of course, committing to a significant increase in production volume.

In 2023, our prints reached 232 cities across 22 countries, paving the way for new international partners, more relationships with artists, and, as a result, new markets and opportunities. In 2024, we increased production to approximately 16,200 pieces, maintaining excellent growth.

We are honoured to collaborate with over 1,000 national and international artists (as of February 2025), and we aim to keep growing. Our main goal is to serve all our partners and clients in an absolutely exemplary manner.

We love paper…

We offer a wide selection of papers from various brands, in addition to our own line based on “white label” papers produced by reputable companies. To date, we have tested 106 papers available on the market (01/MAR/2025).

We make it a priority to offer our clients a permanent stock of over twenty papers (from the more than 100 papers tested to date), covering various natural fibres (alpha-cellulose and cotton), with a range of finishes (smooth, textured, silky, satin, pearlescent, etc.), offering different levels of whiteness and transparency, and including more sustainable substrate options such as bamboo, agave, hemp, and others.

The wide range of papers we offer does not overlook the importance of cost when it comes to making a decision. That’s why we aim to provide options that range from more affordable choices to high-cost papers. Some call them premium, but the truth is that certain papers are simply very expensive — and the current economic climate isn’t exactly helping.

Initially, due to obvious circumstances (as we started during the height of the pandemic) and later, as a clear operational choice.

However, we focus on individual relationships, attention to detail, and always make time to help our clients achieve the best possible results for their work.

We accept visits by appointment only, and exclusively for very specific cases such as exhibition production, signing of large series, etc.
