Hahnemühle Hemp 290
The Hahnemühle Hemp belongs to Hahnemühle’s Natural Line and is made up of 60% hemp fibres and 40% cotton fibres.
The Hahnemühle Hemp 290 uses one of the oldest natural fibres known to mankind. The base of this Fine Art paper impresses with its naturally bright white tone, which, thanks to the bright white colour of the hemp fibres, requires no optical brighteners.
The lightly textured surface gives the paper a pleasant, silky feel. Colours and details are reproduced brilliantly, blacks truly stand out in depth, and contrasts are rendered with a very striking effect.
The Hahnemühle Hemp 290 is an acid- and lignin-free paper that meets the most demanding requirements for ageing resistance.
Hemp has been an essential part of paper production for centuries and, due to its extremely strong fibres, was often used for long-lasting historical documents such as the Gutenberg Bible and the United States Declaration of Independence.
The Hahnemühle Hemp 290 can be included in our sample pack.
